The Japanese airline is returning to Munich Airport after a break due to the pandemic.
With the start of the summer schedule on March 26, 2023, ANA will resume direct service to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport. Initially, the route WILL be served three times a week. So far, the airline was only represented from Munich with a codeshare connection from the joint venture partner Lufthansa. From Germany, the airline with its own aircraft has only operated twice a day from Frankfurt. The Star Alliance member is thus getting closer to the normality of the pre-crisis period: Until the beginning of 2020, the airline had taken off to Tokyo four times a day: twice a day from Frankfurt, once a day from Munich and once a day from Düsseldorf.
In addition to the Munich – Haneda route, the flight connection between Brussels and Tokyo/Narita will again be served twice a week in Europe. The airline will also be flying regularly to Australia (Sydney and Perth) from the end of March this year.
