The Taiwanese airline Eva Air is flying to a German destination for the first time: From now on there will be four flights a week from Taipei to the Bavarian state capital.
There are flights to the Taiwanese metropolis from Munich on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. A Dreamliner is used – the Boeing 787-9 long-haul aircraft. The first flight was carried out with a Boeing 777 with a « Hello Kitty » special livery. So far, the carrier, which has been part of the Star Alliance airline group since 2013, has flown to the European cities of London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna and Milan. EVA Air currently serves 68 destinations on four continents worldwide. The fleet currently consists of 90 aircraft – around two thirds of which are long-haul jets.
