With four De Havilland Canada Dash 8, the South Tyrolean regional airline currently serves 15 destinations. But we shouldn’t stop there.
Sky Alps’ managing director Alex Spinato revealed to the portal Italia Vola that soon a fifth plane would be brought into the fleet. With this additional aircraft, the airline would like to include the long-awaited Frankfurt route from Bozen and thus gain access to the Lufthansa network. The airline is already working on codeshare or interlining partnerships, made possible by the airline’s own Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), which it has received from the Italian aviation authority Enac.
