Turkey’s A400M fleet is complete again. Turkish pilots have flown out two military transporters stranded at Kyiv airport since the start of the war.
A day before Russia invaded Ukraine, Turkey sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The cargo was transported with two Airbus A400 M. But because war broke out a few hours later on February 24, the planes have been imprisoned at Kyiv-Boryspil Airport ever since. But now the Turkish army has flown the two transport planes out of Ukraine. Yesterday, the A400 M with the unique registration numbers 17-0080 and 18-0093 flew from the Ukrainian capital via western Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and across the Black Sea back to Turkey.
