The airline China Southern Airlines operated the last flight with the aircraft type Airbus A380 under the flight number CZ328. This followed from Los Angeles to Guangzhou and was served by the B-6139.
The super jumbo took off from the US metropolis on November 6, 2022 and made its way back to China for the last time. With the landing in Guangzhou, the Airbus A380 era of China Southern Airlines ends. The carrier decided some time ago to phase out this model.
The future of the machines is completely unclear. It is expected that these will initially be stored in the US desert. There could also be a risk of scrapping, because the model is not in demand on the used market at all.
