Indonesian airline Transnusa took delivery of its first ARJ21-700 on Sunday 18 December 2022. This bears the registration PK-TJA and is the first of its kind to be delivered to an air carrier outside the People’s Republic of China.
The low coster has ordered a total of 30 Comac ARJ21. Actually, the first copy should have been taken over a few years ago, but this was postponed due to the corona pandemic. This also applies to Transnusa flight operations in general, as these were temporarily suspended in September 2020 and only reactivated in October 2022.
